Capturing accurate video evidence to validate new diagnostic tools and assessments

For an early detection validation study in Parkinson’s, a SiteCam kit was developed to allow site staff to capture the UPDRS in a uniform way. Since Advance Visuals had previously worked with the authors of the UPDRS and the UDysRS, we collaborated on a video charter document to show how the supplied kit equipment could be used to capture each visual element of the scale for centralized rating. Advance Visuals personnel also assessed the physical and privacy aspects of each site and provided further training and advice to each site team.
