SiteCam systems are designed primarily to serve the scientific needs of the specific study. Within that criteria, each site kit design is intended to be as simple and easy to use as possible. For these features to work in the real world of site staff and subjects, well-designed instructions, training, and support services are vital. A User Guide and Quick-Start Guide is physically provided in each kit. For some movement disorder scales such as UPDRS and SARA, Advance Visuals creates an adjunct “video charter” document which illustrates a standard way to frame and capture each element of the test with the kit. These materials are created jointly with scale authors or other KOL’s. Advance Visuals supports these documents with technical advice and “dry run” assessments prior to first patient usage. Advance Visuals frequently conducts training at IM’s throughout the world. Remote interactive training is also available for sites that require it or where there is staff turnover.
